SUJAN (Sydney University Japan Alumni Network) – A community of alumni residing in Japan
Our primary goal is to foster a community where alumni of the University of Sydney residing in Japan can network, share ideas and expertise, and maintain a sense of belonging to the university even after graduation.
We are also here to share our experiences with current students and those who are interested in studying at the University of Sydney.

A Brief History
Sydney University Japan Alumni Network (SUJAN) was established in 2018 by a small group of fellow alumni in hopes of creating a vibrant community of alumni residing in Japan.
SUJAN took off with a successful first alumni dinner in Tokyo with over 40 alumni members hailing from 8 faculties whose years at the university ranged from 1969 to 2018.
Events continued in 2019, however, SUJAN had been on hiatus since 2020 due to the global pandemic.
Now, in the summer of 2024, we are happy to announce that SUJAN is resuming its activities. Please stay tuned through our newsletter (for members) and social media (Instagram coming soon!) to catch our latest news.
